The form will time-out if left too long. You will receive an email with your responses to confirm the submittal (sender: ; subject line: "Presentation and Poster Proposal Form". If no email is received, please resubmit or contact to confirm receipt.
DEADLINES FOR SUBMITTING PRESENTATIONS:
Presentation proposals must have been submitted by January 31, 2020. Primary presenters will be notified by February 14th.
Poster proposals must be submitted by March 6, 2020, to be included in the conference program.
Workshop sessions are approximately 50 minutes long but may be adjusted as needed. To submit a paper or proposal for presentation, complete the online submission form at the top of the page. Please note any specific considerations, such as if you're presenting or assisting with another presentation, schedule conflicts, presentation length, etc. We will do our best to accommodate requests.
TIP: Have all of your presentation's information (abstract, bios of all presenters, contact information) ready before submitting; the information will be used for the conference program.
Upon acceptance of your presentation, you must submit your presentation to the AEC Audio/Visual Coordinators by April 17, 2020- this will help the AEC run much more smoothly. Please contact us if special considerations are required.
Posters will need to be hung no later than 11:30 on Monday, April 27th. The size limit on posters is 48” X 60”. An evening social event is scheduled, and poster presenters are requested to be present to discuss their posters during this time. If you cannot stay near your poster, please leave business cards. Please review the Poster Guidelines.
Please make arrangements to have all posters removed by close of the conference on Wednesday.
VERIFYING YOUR SUBMISSION AND NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE:
Results of acceptance will be emailed ONLY to the Primary Presenter by February 14th, 2020. It is the responsibility of the Primary Presenter to:
Notify any co-presenters of acceptance.
Act as the liaison between the Speaker Chairs and any co-presenters.
Keep the Speaker Chair informed of any changes made to the original proposal submitted. Abstract content cannot be edited once it has been accepted.
WSEHA is a non-profit organization that receives no financial funding other than support through annual membership dues and event registrations. All revenue made by the AEC goes towards conference and administrative expenses.
With this in mind, the AEC Planning Committee and WSEHA Board have established the following policy for presenter registration: Presenters will be responsible for the registration fee for the day they are scheduled to present, or for the entire conference, if they wish to attend other sessions besides their own. Presenters and panelists will not be responsible for the registration fee if they are only attending the conference for their specific presentation and then leaving immediately afterwards.
