WHAT IS WSEHA? 

The Washington State Environmental Health Association is a state-wide organization composed of approximately 200 members from public and private organizations.  Members include professionals, educators, students, scientists, and regulators in the fields of environmental public health including: food protection, water quality, vector control, recreational water, hazardous and solid wastes, toxic substances, air quality, wastewater, noise pollution, radiation, school health and safety, and occupational health.

 

WHAT IS THE ANNUAL EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE (AEC)? 

A three-day event which environmental public health professionals and students in Washington State attend to fill many of their continuing educational needs.  It’s one of the largest environmental health conferences in Washington State.  People from all areas of environmental health will be attending this conference where they learn the latest information in their field.  

 

HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL BE THERE? 

Approximately 250 people are expected to attend the conference.  This will provide an excellent opportunity for your organization to display products, advertise services, share information, and build relationships.

 

WHAT DO I GET? 

As an exhibitor or vendor, you will receive:

  • A standard conference-sized table (3 x 6 ft)

  • Full conference registration for one (1) person

  • Option to buy additional registrations for $150 each

  • Included meals: Monday lunch, Tuesday breakfast & lunch, Wednesday breakfast & lunch 

  • Program materials and printed name badge 

  • High visibility of your exhibit or table

  • Announcement for the exhibits at the end of the plenary session

  • Your logo & contact information in our conference program (if registered by March 6, 2020) and on the slideshow that will play during lunches 

  • Marketing of conference by AEC Planning Committee to increase attendance

 

HOW MUCH WILL A REGULAR EXHIBIT COST? 

The fee is $500 for regular exhibitors, and $250 for academic and non- profit organizations. 

OTHER OPPORTUNITIES TO SUPPORT WSEHA:

Sustaining Membership Package

A Sustaining Membership is for businesses or organizations that are interested in supporting WSEHA and its goals and objectives. Sustaining Members are offered to be listed on WSEHA’s website with a link to their own website. 

 

In addition, a Sustaining Membership authorizes a firm or organization to pay the membership registration rate for up to four representatives per Association training event.  The package price for an Exhibitor and Sustaining Membership package is $600.  For an academic and non-profit organizations, the package price for an Exhibitor and Sustaining Membership is $350.

Break Sponsorship

This is the perfect opportunity for a company who is unable to attend the conference, but still wishes to participate in some way.  Your company name will be posted on the break tables and will be announced at the end of the plenary session prior to your sponsored break.  If you would like to bring or mail handout materials and/or brochures, we will display them in the Exhibit Hall.  Break sponsorship is $200 per break.

Sponsor the Evening Social Activity

We will be having a networking social event and poster session on Monday evening.  This event will include a no-host bar, one drink ticket per attendee, and appetizers.

 

Your company name will be posted on the tables and will be announced at the beginning and end of the evening event.   The fee to sponsor the social event is $500.

INTERESTED IN SUBMITTING A PRESENTATION OR POSTER? 

Another option for your organization to engage with conference attendees and provide information is through a presentation or poster.  Presentations should be designed to last approximately ten minutes.  For more information on these options, see our Call for Proposals webpage.  We just ask that you refrain from making a sales pitch, and instead focus on information or training related to an issue within Environmental Public Health.

Please note that all presentation and poster proposals must be submitted online no later than January 31, 2020.

EXHIBITOR POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

  • For safety reasons, candles and open flames are not allowed.

  • Posting of any materials on walls is prohibited unless approved materials are used.  

  • Items are not to be hung from the ceiling – inside or outside.

  • Due to the difficulty of cleaning, no glitter or “silly string” is allowed.

  • All local fire codes must be followed, therefore, any mechanical machine must be void of all flammable liquid, such as, but not limited to, gas or oil.  A carpet barrier must be placed between the floor and machine.

  • Fog or smoke machines are not permitted within the conference center.

  • Shipping or receiving materials

    • Parcels should be received 3 days prior or less.
