Dave Cole: You Will be Missed

David James Cole passed away July 12, 2017 from a motorcycle accident. Dave was 37 years old. Dave was born in Seattle on December 15, 1979 to Gene and Carrie Cole, the 2nd of 9 siblings. He attended Yakima schools before graduating from Highland High School in 1998, and attended Emmaus Bible College and then Central University, graduating in 2004.

Dave took his job as spiritual leader of the family seriously. He made sure to instruct his wife and 2 young sons in the ways of the Lord and guide them. He loved his wife well and gave to her sacrificially. He included the boys in all of his adventures from ski and fishing trips to dirt biking. They admired and loved their dad.

He worked as a health inspector for the Yakima Health District starting in 2005 and was recently promoted to Director of Environmental Health.

Dave was a deacon at Tieton Drive Bible Chapel and worked tirelessly for his brothers and sisters in Christ. He was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone who needed it.

He was a true follower of Jesus Christ in word and deed. Everything in his life was done with purpose.

Dave is survived by his wife Heather (Aggett) of 12 years and their sons Lincoln (8) and Thomas (5), his parents Gene and Carrie Cole, his in-laws, Brian and Jenny Aggett, his grandparents Marvin and Delores Cole, his siblings Andrew (Sandra) Cole, Inga (Matthew) Taylor, Gina (Jesse) Dickerson, Ariana Cole, Elena (Ben) Jimenez, Ben (Karolina) Cole, Sean (Keshia) Cole, and Lydia Cole; his wife’s siblings Dave (Karrilee) Aggett, Ruth (Bob) Barrionuevo, and Suzie (Tim) Goff, and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Dave was a man of high character and integrity and has left a gaping hole in our hearts and lives. We are distraught but trusting that God works all things together for good for those who love Him.
