Education Symposium - Save the Date

Come to Seattle and learn about Legionella and other waterborne diseases at the Educational Symposium on October 30th! Registration and additional information will be announced at a later date.

This is a collaboration between APIC Puget Sound, Washington State DOH, and Pall Medical. The event will be from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. and include topics such as:

- The Engineer's Perspecitve: Learning from a Legionnaires' Disease Outbreak

- Consequences of Opportunistic Pathogens in Premise Plumbing

- Environmental Water Sampling and Clinical Microbiology

- The Infection Preventionist Perspective: Overcoming a Pseudomonas Outbreak in a NICU

Speakers include representatives from UW Medical Center, Belfast Health and Social Trust, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center.
