2026 Annual Conference Update

We are excited to announce that the annual educational conference is scheduled for October 13-15, 2026, at the newly remodeled Wenatchee Convention Center. Save the date!
This year, we are joining conference forces with the Washington State Public Health Association (WSPHA). WSPHA is a non-profit dedicated to public health by improving health and safety in all communities. The goal is to build connections between all facets of public health, including environmental public health.
Why the joint conference? Many organizations are navigating tighter budgets and reduced travel and training funds. Rather than having to offer scaled back programming or cancelling altogether, we chose to combine efforts so we can still offer a strong conference experience for our members. We want the conference to be worth attending, respect the realities we're all facing, and deliver relevant content for everyone involved. We hope to get back to an EH-only conference as soon as it's feasible.
We want to be candid- we are aware that past joint conferences have not landed well with some of you. In particular, we've received feedback that EH was underrepresented. We heard you loud and clear! This time around, we are committed to ensuring that EH has a strong presence. We need your help to accomplish this by:
Submitting EH presentations or posters when the call for proposals is opened
Participating on the planning committee
Nominating amazing co-workers for awards
Donating items or a raffle basket to the Internal Health Committee's silent auction
Simply attending the conference
Keep an eye on our conference webpage: https://www.wseha.org/2026-annual-education-conference. It's a little bare right now since planning is just starting, but we'll add more as we can.
We hope you join us!
